These benefits are available under EU legislation to any person who has been a resident of Cyprus for a period of 12 months or more. This information is not wildly known neither is it publicised among the EX Pat communities of Cyprus. This Post only covers the Allowance for the Provision of a Disability Car.
Beneficiaries : Persons aged 18-70 years presenting severe disability to upper and/or lower limbs, or with severe visual disability.
Allowance/Provision:
Financial assistance up to €15.378 or up to €18.795. The financial assistance refers to the customs duties, excise duties and the VAT.
Exemption from car registration and road tax fees.
